Jack Prouty
Jack Prouty, Managing Partner

The Managing Partner of PM+P, Jack Prouty is a subject matter expert in the field of mergers and integrations with over 30 years of line management and consulting experience. Mr. Prouty has worked with numerous Fortune 1000 companies to effectively integrate acquired companies, repositioning/transforming their business for improved market success and conducting large scale change programs to enhance bottom-line benefits. At PM+P, Mr. Prouty focuses on assisting executives of major companies across the lifecycle of transactions: mergers, consolidations, joint ventures, divestitures, and roll-ups. With a depth of functional knowledge and experience, Mr. Prouty brings a specialized expertise in the execution of successful integration. He had spearheaded 60+ national and global business integration projects ranging from $50 million to over $10 billion and has worked on over 74 business transformation and large scale operational improvement projects. Mr. Prouty is a member of the M&A Leadership Council.

 

John L. Montgomery
John L. Montgomery, Partner

A management consultant with over 35 years of experience, Mr. Montgomery is the Operations Partner of PM+P. He has served as National Director of Management Consulting and Director of Global Alliances and Services for Grant Thornton, leading the firm’s transformation into a focused, profitable, and nationally coordinated multi-million dollar management consulting practice. Mr. Montgomery also held a variety of leadership and management positions with KPMG and was the first consulting partner to serve on the KPMG Board of Directors. During his KPMG tenure, Mr. Montgomery developed and managed three of the firm’s largest and most profitable practices: Chicago, New York, and the Midwest region. Mr. Montgomery also served on KPMG’s Strategic Planning Committee and chaired the Management Consulting Strategic Planning Committee.

 

 

Scott J. Wiley
Scott J. Wiley, Partner

Scott Wiley has 20 years of merger and acquisition, divestiture, and post-merger integration experience. He has served as principal executive or lead advisor on transactions totaling more than $30 billion on four continents. Mr. Wiley is experienced in all phases of a transaction, including strategic evaluation, target selection, valuation, structuring, negotiation, and business integration. Prior to joining Prouty, Montgomery + Partners, Mr. Wiley served as president of the U.S. Direct to Market division of a privately held European manufacturing and distribution company, president and chief investment officer of an SEC registered investment advisory firm, managing director of a Big 4 M&A advisory practice, and vice president of a diversified Fortune 500 financial services concern. His transaction experience includes a wide array of manufacturing, financial services, technology, consumer products, energy, mining, and agriculture businesses.
